A Fall of Stone Synopsis
"On the horizon, the three improbable teeth of Gillean soar high into the air. Al thinks that they're quite
likely guarding the gateway to Hell"
The financial services industry has been Andy Perkins' life for fifteen years. Never just a job, never
just 9 to 5,
but his life and, at some time in the past he would have said that he loved it.
Rachel simply put up with it - nothing more, nothing less. It was what her husband did, what paid the bills and provided the
nice things in life; the house, the car, holidays abroad - and their time on the Isle of Skye.
It had been good to them, made their lives pleasant and comfortable; not quite affluent, but they could certainly see it
from where they were.
It was never meant to be long term, not really. Rather a means to an end: a channel through which they could travel
until they reached their joint goal of leaving their stressful environment then move to the beautiful island
that had haunted their dreams for all their married life.
Things change though, all things, without exception. And when they do, you roll with them, pick up the pieces and get on
with living.
A Fall of Stone follows Andy and Rachel's ever changing circumstances, the turmoil that reshapes their lives
forever, the friendships that develop and grow over time and the evil that, unbeknown to them, has infected their lives.
Drawing to a dramatic conclusion on Skye's mighty Cuillin Ridge, A Fall of Stone is a moving story of
murder, love, loss and hope for a simple, yet satisfying life.
