About Me Hi, I’m Mark Rhodes and some of you may know me from the famous ITV show Pop Idol when I was runner up to a Glaswegian Lass known as Michele McManus. I was catapulted to fame during that show and everyone seemed to know who I was. After the show, Sam Nixon who also found fame on the show and myself teamed up to bring out a couple of singles, one of which went to Number One in the British pop charts. Since that time Sam and I have been inseparable and we now present a show on BBC2 each morning at 7.30am called Level Up. It is a live show which keeps us both on our toes. We are both having the time of our lives and we hope that it continues. I now live in London but I miss the Midlands and all my friends and family there. I do get up to see everyone as often as I can and whenever I go into Wolverhampton on a Friday and Saturday evening I am overwhelmed by the reception I get from my ‘homies’. I have the best job in the world and my gratitude for that is enormous! |
