Gornal Tough Guys Sedgley ATC Gornal's own Air Training Corps Squadron (2132 Sedgley click here) showed their mettle at the recent "Tough Guys" event in Perton, when 16 cadets and 4 members of staff provided marshalling support. The plucky lads were once again helping Billy Wilson at his Summer endurance extravaganza, held on his farm in Jenny Walkers Lane. Sedgley ATC cadets have been involved for 4 years and have been regular and enthusiastic helpers. The Winter competition is probably the tougher, attracting thousands of "toughened veterans" from all over the world, but the Summer competition is still very strenuous and taxes the best of the best. Good fun was had by all as can be seen by the expressions on the faces in the attached photo and the "gongs" hanging on the necks of all the cadets & staff.
