The Oval Priority Neighbourhood Initiative Do you live in or around The Oval in Upper Gornal; North Oval, South Oval, Valley Road, Quarry Brow, Tudor Road, Tudor Vale, Glen Road, Tenacre Lane, Highgate, Nethergate and parts of Green Lane, Edmund Road, Eve Lane and Priors Mill? If so, you may well already know Judith Bennett and her work. Judith is the Priority Neighbourhood Manager for this district, which is one of twenty three in Dudley Borough that have been targeted for assistance in six key areas: jobs, good health, leisure & culture, environment, community safety and lifelong learning. Judith's role is to identify the needs of people in the Priority Neighbourhood and help and support those people. With the help of local people and by working with local partners the Priority Neighbourhood Initiative aims to ensure that services meet needs and people can enjoy a good quality of life.
