Abbey Farm (note: photo incorrect, mirror image - click here for story) Further to our recent article, many thanks to Ian Beach for sending us a photo of Abbey Farm, Peter's home until he emigrated to Australia 34 years ago with wife Marion (nee Esp). Grateful acknowledgements to Trevor Genge and Sutton Publishing - Ian informs us that this picture is on page 20 of Trevor's "Sedgley & District" Volume 1. This book is long out of print although there are rumours that volumes 1-3 will be released as an omnibus edition. If so we'll be selling it at www.blackcountryshop.co.uk so keep checking! A delighted Peter tells us "Marion said that it still had her curtains up, as no one lived there after we left!" We were also pleased to learn that as a result of the article an old friend, Beryl, has got in touch with Peter and Marion.
