Have a great night out to support brave Paul

Tomorrow night (Thursday 31st) a special music and sports auction event is taking place at The Shed in Brierley Hill, in aid of Lower Gornal father of two Paul Hickman, who is suffering from motor neurone disease. And Yampy has bought two tickets, worth £6 each, to give away to the first person to email us at admin@yampy.co.uk, saying they would like to attend.

The evening includes disco, rock act Riley, raffle, and an auction of prized memorabilia including signed England shirt, Aston Villa 1982 European Cup winners signed football, and signed Baggies, Wolves, and Liverpool items.

Money raised goes to the Paul Hickman Trust Fund, which friends have set up to provide assistance to him as his health deteriorates.

We got in touch with fund organiser Paul Garner after reading about Paul in the Dudley News. Our September 'Joke of the Month' prize winner Mike 'Blackcountrykid' had kindly asked us to donate his fiver to a local charity, and we thought that this would be a suitable recipient.

Paul Garner can be contacted on 07973 374267.
