North Dudley Area Committee - Monday 10/02/03 6.30pm The first meeting of 2003 will be held at the Council's Parkes Hall Study Centre, Parkes Hall Road, Upper Gornal (click here for location map) on the 10th of February. The agenda includes road safety, the community plan, youth offending team presentation, and lifelong learning action plan. Plus the usual forum session where you can have your say - we will be asking why the taxi building is still standing, and hope that the issue of car parking in Gornal is raised once more. This is the closest you will get to community politics in action; it is set up to allow the people of DY3, Dudley WV14, DY1 west of London Heights, and part of DY5 to discuss local issues with local councillors. If you want to raise an issue that concerns you, you will get the chance to speak out and if you persist over a few meetings things can be achieved.
