Exercise in Democracy - MP for Gornal area launches web site
When we first met our MP, Ross Cranston QC, a few months ago
he told us that he was in the process of developing his own site, that he would let us know when it was done, and
that he would provide a link to Yampy from it.
We're pleased to say that he hasn't forgotten us. Today we were informed that
www.rosscranston.labour.co.uk is now live, and it
offers a major step forward for constituents wishing to contact the MP, as Mr. Cranston can be emailed direct at
cranstonr@parliament.uk. In particular, your views are
requested on the subject of alcohol misuse - we will explain further in a separate article.
The site contains information about his background, the history of Dudley,
and the latest news on his activities in the constituency and in Parliament. There are also facilities to email
Mr Cranston and check the times of his next surgeries. Oh, and a 'favourite links' section with Yampy at the top -
of course!
Mr Cranston remarked: "In the last twelve months the internet has certainly revolutionised the way I carry out research
and I thought it was time to have my own site about the work I do as MP for Dudley North. For those not on line who want
to get in touch about alcohol or any other issue please drop me a line at the Holloway Chambers,
28 Priory Street, Dudley DY1 1EZ or at the House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.
Those with the technology can email direct from the website.'
