Dudley Environment Open Morning 21st August 2003
(entomologists especially welcome!)
We're a pretty clued up lot here in Gornal - and Yampy readers are of course the elite of the elite.
All the same,
we wouldn't advise Brian and Guy at Dudley Environment Zone (DEZ) in Robert Street
to hold their breath waiting for a successful outcome to their latest request for volunteers.
On the 21st August from 10am - 12 noon, the DEZ will be open to anyone interested in seeing how the facility is
developing, three years on
from its inception at Robert Street School. Pop along for an informal chat and a stroll through the Nature Trail.
Also, they are looking to start a volunteer group to help with tasks throughout the year, and are particularly
keen to find a an entomologist to help survery their nature area.
We can't claim personal expertise in this field (we couldn't even spell it!), but basically if you are keen on beetles,
flies, grasshoppers and other creepy crawlies,
the DEZ team have just the job for you!
For further information call Brian or Guy on 01384 814170 or email them at
