Local Showcase for Young Talent Emma & Lucy of Dudley A Gornal entertainment agency has organised a grand showcase evening, to be held at the Kingfisher Country Club on Thursday evening 29th August 2002. Academy Management Group is run by Dave Hughes, who started the company from his Gornal base eighteen months ago after a long and successful career in video production and theatre management. The showcase variety event will feature both professional and amateur talent, with local media, agencies, and club secretaries invited to attend. Compere for the evening will be hilarious BBC warm up comedian Dougie Parker. As well as a crop of local acts with stars in their eyes, the event has already attracted entries from across the country; Cannock to Crewe, and Manchester to Milton Keynes.
