John Marsh Family Tree

Two months ago we reported that Yampy contributor Toni Barker had identified her great great grandfather Happy Tom Hickman (left) on a 1920's photograph we published (click here). Happy Tom was also the grandfather of Gornal's famous blind coalman Ebenezer Turner. Toni has transcribed into html a family tree (click here) created by her great great uncle John Marsh, which includes Happy Tom and Eb as well as other local surnames that may be of interest to Gornal family historians. We are pleased that we have been asked us to host these pages, and hope that Yampy readers can help Toni to continue to expand her genealogical research.
