We get thousands of visitors per month, mainly Gornalites or ex-Gornalites, so chances are someone will know someone who
can find your friend. It does work!

I am trying to find Alan Oakley. He lived in woodsorrel Road Wrens Nest, near Dudley,
before going in the army stationed at Dover Castles.
The last place I knew was at 11 Cambridge Road Claverly, which is near Blackpool. He will be 60 yrs old,
married to a girl named Annie. He has a brother named Colin.
It may help to say that he did work in Tividale for a year, at a die sinkers.

Gornalite William Shirley is trying to locate a machinist there who he knew only as Big Al (yes we know,

Ian Beach is a Gornal ex-pat in Australia who runs the excellent local history and genealogy site at
www.sedgleymanor.com .
He has sent us a list of ex-school mates from the now-demolished Tudor County Primary in Upper Gornal.
Ian was there from 1954-1960 and, though he has already found three of them via
Friends Reunited,
he would love to hear from the others or anyone else whose names he may have missed.
The ones he's found are Gary Westwood, Stuart Whitehouse and Barbara Kettle
(a distant cousin).
